LOCATION - Lat 25°57'28.6", long 81°21'18.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 sec.7, T.52 S., R.30 E., Collier County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090204, on right bank 250 ft downstream of control structure No. 6 (State Road 29 #3), 0.7 mi north of Copeland, 7 mi north of town of Everglades City, and 7.5 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2013 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with a water-stage pressure transducer. Datum of gage in National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by operation of control structures above and below station. This station replaces BARRON RIVER CANAL NEAR EVERGLADES, FL (02291000), which was discontinued on February 12, 2014.
