LOCATION - Lat 26°38'31.9", long 82°03'23.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in T.44 S., R.22 E., Lee County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100103, right bank of North Spreader Canal, 235 ft downstream from the former Ceitus Boat Lift, 0.4 mi upstream from the mouth of the canal at Matlacha, 1.1 mi west northwest of the intersection of Pine Island Road and Burnt Store Road in Cape Coral, FL.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2013 to March 2014. Discontinued.
GAGE - Self-logging acoustic Doppler velocity meter with acoustic stage sensor. Datum of gage is arbitrary.
REMARKS - Streamflow at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. Daily mean discharge was computed from filtered unit value discharge data. The Godin low-pass filter was used to remove principal tidal frequencies from unit values. Positive discharge is to the south (towards Matlacha Pass), and negative discharge to the north (into the North Spreader Canal).
