LOCATION - Lat 27°05'12", long 81°59'58" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 sec.15, T.39 S., R.23 E., DeSoto County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100101, on Peace River, 2.5 miles west of Ft. Ogden and 19.1 miles upstream of the mouth of Peace River.

DRAINAGE AREA - Not determined.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

PERIOD OF RECORD - December 2009 to September 2010 (tidal high-high and low-low gage heights only); October 2010 to current year maximum and minimum gage heights only).

GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988.

COOPERATION - Peace River/Manasota Regional Water Supply Authority.

REMARKS - Gage height at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. The extremes for periods published previously as tidal high-high and low-low gage heights are equivalent to maximum and minimum gage heights.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 7.49 ft, Sep. 15, 2017; minimum, 3.27 ft below NAVD 88, Jan. 8, 2017.

TEMPERATURE: Top sensor maximum, 34.9°C, June 26, 2010; bottom sensor maximum, 33.3°C, July 28, 2010 and June 22, 2015; top sensor minimum, 7.9°C, Jan. 11, 12, 2010; bottom sensor minimum, 7.8°C, Jan. 11, 12, 2010.
