LOCATION - Lat 27°11'07", long 82°21'21" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.12, T.38 S., R.19 E., Sarasota County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100102, on right bank, 500 ft. downstream from concrete dam. 4 mi south of State Highway 72. 6.85 mi northeast of Laurel, Fl and 27.8 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 253 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY -

Datum of gage for the period of March 1, 2008 through October 12, 2017 was revised based on new benchmark information from levels of May 4, 2017. 

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1986 to February 1993, gage heights with miscellaneous discharge measurements; March 2008 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 2.35 ft. above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to 2008 datum of gage was unknown.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
