LOCATION - Lat 27°06'41.90", long 82°12'17.43" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.34, T.38 S., R.21 E., Sarasota County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100102, on upstream side of bridge on Tropicaire Boulevard, 4.0 mi north of North Port Charlotte, and 6.0 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 81 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 0.29 ft. below National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 1.40 ft. below North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the City of North Port.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2001 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - A 6-inch diameter, tipping bucket precipitation gage 15-minute interval, mounted on gage platform railing 3 ft west of shelter.
