LOCATION - Lat 27°43'45.50", long 82°04'27.40" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.02, T.32 S., R.22 E., Hillsborough County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100204, on upstream side of abandoned railroad trestle, 4.7 mi northeast of Fort Lonesome, FL 5.3 mi upstream from Hurrah Creek, and 33.4 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 72.6 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2008 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is at North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District and Hillsborough County.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 2013 to current year.
INSTRUMENTATION - A 6-inch diameter, tipping bucket precipitation gage 15-minute interval, mounted next to the gage structure at approximately 8 ft above ground level.
