02310147 HOLLIN CREEK NEAR TARPON SPRINGS, FL.
LOCATION - Lat 28°09'44", long 82°42'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 sec.4, T.27 S., R.16 E., Pinellas County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100207, 10 ft upstream from twin box culverts on abandoned railroad grade, 700 ft northeast of E. Lake Dr., 0.8 mi upstream from mouth, and 3.0 mi northeast of Tarpon Springs.
DRAINAGE AREA - 8.31 mi² of which 3.88 mi² probably is noncontributing.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revision:  Maximum peak discharge for the 2005 Water Year was revised on May 13, 2025 due to insufficient significant figures.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1981 to September 2008 (discontinued). Prior to October 1984, mean daily discharges published in U. S. Geological Survey Open-File Report 86-55.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 7.06 ft below National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Pinellas County.
REMARKS - Records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Stage-discharge relation affected by tide on some days.
