GAGE - Water stage recorder. The datum of gage is at North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Prior to Oct. 1, 2008 datum of gage was 0.18 ft lower.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 7.30 ft, August 30, 2023; minimum gage height, 3.65 ft below NAVD 88, Jan. 3, 2008. Maximum gage height was likely exceeded on Sept. 27, 2024, during Hurricane Helene but was not recorded due to flood damage to gage
