USGS Water-Year Summary 2020
LOCATION - Lat 29°35'20", long 82°56'00" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 sec.29, T.10 S., R.14 E., Levy County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03110205, on left bank of spring run, 300 ft downstream of spring vent, and 1.8 mi southwest of Wilcox.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
REVISIONS HISTORY - The pH data collected December 9, 10, 2016 were  found to be significantly influenced by backwater and were removed from the published data set on March 26, 2018. Total Dissolved Solid data published from October 1, 2013 to Nov. 4, 2015 were removed from publication on March 20, 2018.  The rating computation under review by the USGS.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1930 to June 1998 (miscellaneous discharge measurements), June 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, acoustic velocity meter, and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is 0.53 ft below National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 1.19 ft below NAVD of 1998.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Suwannee River Water Management District.
REMARKS - Discharge computed from continuous velocity record obtained from index-velocity meter. Flow affected by tide. The Suwannee River flow can back up into the spring run during periods of high flow producing negative velocities and discharges. Flows recorded during these periods could contain a mixture of river and spring flow, or be totally river flow.

INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitor and data-collection platform consisting of specific conductance, temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen parameters and an additional sensor consisting of only nitrate.
REMARKS - Extremes for current year and extremes for period of daily record are based on recorded values and may have been exceeded during periods of no record. July 2014 to current year, water temperature, specific conductance, dissolved oxygen, and nitrate, published as instantaneous maximum and minimum and daily mean; pH published as instantaneous maximum and minimum and daily median.

SPECIFIC CONDUCTANCE:Maximum recorded, 548 us/cm Aug. 13 and 16, 2019; minimum recorded, 78 us/cm Dec. 22, 2018, 2017.

 WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 23.5 °C, May 20, 2017 and July 25, 2019; minimum recorded, 12.9°C Dec. 14 and 15, 2018.

DISSOLVED OXYGEN: Maximum, 8.2 mg/L, Dec. 14 and 15, 2018; minimum, 1.4 May 16, 2015

pH: Maximum, 8.3 std. units, May 9, 2015; minimum, 6.2 std. units on Dec. 26, 28 and 29, 2018.
