02327355 OCHLOCKONEE RIVER AT GA 188, NEAR COOLIDGE, GA
LOCATION - Lat 31°00'08.7", long 83°56'20.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Thomas County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03120002, 3.1 mi upstream from confluence with Big Creek, 3.5 mi downstream from Bridge Creek, and 4.0 mi west of Coolidge.
DRAINAGE AREA - 260 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: October 1981 to May 2009 (annual maximum only), June 2009 to current year.
GAGE-HEIGHT: October 1981 to May 2009 (annual maximum only), June 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemtry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 166.42 feet above the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (leveling by Global Positioning System equipment using GEOID09). Prior to June 2009, crest-stage partial record station at same datum.
COOPERATION - Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally good except for estimated discharges, which are poor.  Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-ga_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 15,450 cfs, April 2, 2009; maximum stage recorded, 18.59 feet, April 2, 2009; minimum daily discharge, 0.0 cfs, September 2-4, 13-25, 2011 and October 8-9, 2011.
