LOCATION - Lat 34°31'41.8", long 83°56'24.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Lumpkin County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03130001, on left bank 250 feet upstream from Bearden Bridge on GA 52, 2.0 miles downstream from Ballplay Creek, 2.5 miles east of Dahlonega, and 3.5 miles upstream from Yahoola Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 153 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY -

WRD GA-95-1:1994.

The mean gage-heights associated with discharge measurements #687-#733 were revised on Feb. 28, 2022, based on changes to the gage datum.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

DISCHARGE: July 1929 to January 1932, April 1940 to current year. Monthly discharge only for July 1929, published in WSP 1304.
GAGE HEIGHT: October 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,128.74 feet above North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (from GNSS survey).
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally fair. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
