LOCATION - Lat 34°09'41.7", long 84°04'34" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Forsyth County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03130001, on left downstream wingwall of Buford Dam, 2.6 miles upstream from bridge at GA SR 20, 4.0 miles Northwest of Buford, GA, and at river mile 347.9.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,034 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June, 2007 to current year. Elevation records collected at same site since February 1957 to June 2007 in files of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 0.02 feet below North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (levels by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers).
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District.
