LOCATION - Lat 33°58'05", long 84°22'58" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Fulton County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03130001, on left bank 400 feet downstream of Morgan Falls Dam, 3.8 miles upstream from mouth of Sope Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,370 mi².
DISCHARGE: October 2001 to current year.
GAGE-HEIGHT: October 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 12.52 feet below National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929.
COOPERATION - Georgia Power Corporation.

For period 10/01/2013-03/09/2020: Discharge record fair, except for days of estimated discharge, which are poor. Gage height record good.
For period 03/10/2020-05/05/2020: Discharge record good. Gage height record good.
For period 05/06/2020-09/22/2020: Discharge record fair. Gage height record fair.
For period 09/23/2020-11/18/2020: Discharge record poor. Gage height record good.
