LOCATION - Lat 33°47'34", long 84°28'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Fulton County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03130002, at bridge on Spring Road 0.8 miles upstream of confluence with Proctor Creek, 1.5 miles east of Interstate 285, and 2.3 miles north of Interstate 20.
DRAINAGE AREA - 3.11 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
GAGE-HEIGHT: October 2015 to October 2018.
DISCHARGE: March 2016 to October 2018.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 807.1 feet above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929.
COOPERATION - US Environmental Protection Agency, Urban Waters Partnership.
REMARKS - For period:  10/31/2015-10/11/2018 Discharge records are poor. Gage-height records are good.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 787 cfs, January 12, 2017; maximum gage-height, 10.88 feet, December 24, 2015; minimum daily discharge, 0.2 cfs, September 21-25, 2018.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2003 to February 2018.
REMARKS - Hydrologic event 9 indicates a routine sample while J designates a storm event sample. Laboratory chemical analyses are from the the U.S. Geological Survey, National Water Quality Laboratory. Laboratory sediment analyses are by the U.S. Geological Survey, Kentucky Sediment Laboratory. Field determinations of discharge, specific conductance, pH, water temperature, turbidity, air temperature, barometric pressure, and dissolved oxygen are by the U.S. Geological Survey.
