02336635 NICKAJACK CREEK AT US 78 AND 278, NEAR MABLETON, GA
LOCATION - Lat 33°48'12", long 84°31'17" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Cobb County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03130002, on the left downstream side of bridge on US 78 and 278, 1.5 miles east of Mableton, and 1.2 miles above mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 31.5 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: October 1995 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: October 1995 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is about 745 feet above National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929 (from topographic map). Prior to November 11, 1996, gage was located at a site 150 feet downstream on right bank at same datum.
COOPERATION - Cobb County Water System.
REMARKS -
For period 10/01/2013-12/06/2017: Discharge records fair, except for days of estimated discharge, which are poor. Gage height records good.
