02354800 ICHAWAYNOCHAWAY CREEK NEAR ELMODEL, GA
LOCATION - Lat 31°17'37.2", long 84°29'18.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Baker County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03130009, on right bank 50 feet below sampling dock, approximately 0.6 miles downstream of old dam site, 1.6 miles north of GA 200, 9.0 miles west-southwest of Newton, and 3.7 miles south of Elmodel.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,000 mi². approximately.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: April 1995 to current year.
GAGE-HEIGHT: April 1995 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 119.1 feet above the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (leveling by Global Positioning System equipment using GEOID09).
COOPERATION - Dougherty County.
REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.  Additional details on the accuracy of the records can be obtained by contacting the USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center at gs-w-ga_nwisweb_data_inquiries@usgs.gov.

Discharge during growing season affected by undetermined amount of irrigation withdrawal. Moderate diurnal fluctuation occurs at low flow.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge recorded, 29,200 cfs, March 10, 1998; maximum gage height recorded, 31.19 feet, March 10, 1998; minimum daily discharge, 11 cfs, September 3, 2011.
