LOCATION - Lat 34°42'12.2", long 84°32'22.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Gilmer County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03150102, at US Highway 76/Georgia Highway 282, 6.0 mi upstream from Coosawatee River, 3.0 mi dowstream from confluence with Conasauga Creek, and 5.3 mi from Ellijay.
DRAINAGE AREA - 61.6 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

DISCHARGE: April 2001 to June 2007 (discharge measurements only), January 2008 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: January 2008 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry. Datum of gage is 1,277.71 feet above North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (from GNSS survey).

REMARKS - Gage-height records are generally good. Discharge records are generally fair except for estimated discharges, which are poor.
