LOCATION - Lat 34°18'38", long 84°24'12" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Cherokee County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03150104, 0.9 miles upstream of the confluence with the Etowah River, and 2.4 miles southwest of Ballground.
DRAINAGE AREA - 73.2 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: July 2004 to August 2005 (discrete discharge measurements only), September 2005 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: September 2005 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite telemetry with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 893.7 feet above North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988 (leveling by Global Navigation Satellite System equipment using GEOID12A).
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District.
