LOCATION - Lat 34°27'59", long 85°20'10" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Chattooga County, GA, Hydrologic Unit 03150105, on left bank 600.0 feet downstream from bridge on US 27, 1.0 mile southeast of Summerville, and 4.0 miles upstream from Raccoon Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 192 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR GA-80-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD -
DISCHARGE: March 1937 to current year.
GAGE HEIGHT: October 1998 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite transmitter with a water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 613.5 feet above the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988. Prior to November 12, 1937, non-recording gage was located at same site and datum.
COOPERATION - Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge recorded, 30,100 cfs, February 16, 1990; maximum gage height recorded, 22.63 feet, February 16, 1990; minimum daily discharge, 38 cfs, October 17, 1937.
