LOCATION - Lat 32°28'36", long 85°41'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Macon County, AL, Hydrologic Unit 03150110, on left bank at downstream side of bridge on State Highway 81, 1 mi upstream of Red Creek, 1.2 mi upstream of Western Railway of Alabama bridge, and 4 mi north of Tuskegee.
DRAINAGE AREA - 333 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR AL-84-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1939 to September 1970, October 1970 to September 1974 (flood hydrograph only), October 1974 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 223.65 ft above NGVD of 1929.
REMARKS - Record considered good, except for estimated periods, which are poor.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood in March 1929 reached a stage of about 30 ft; 2 ft higher than that of Apr. 9, 1964, from information by local resident.
