LOCATION - Lat 30°25'09", long 88°49'41" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 sec.19, T.7 S., R.8 W., Jackson County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 03170009, St. Stephens Meridian, at drawbridge on State Highway 609, 1 mile south of US Interstate 10 and just north of US Hwy 90.
DRAINAGE AREA - 46.3 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2003 to current year. PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD.-- GAGE HEIGHT: August 2003 to November 2009, August 28 - September 2, 2012, June 2014 through current year.
GAGE - Submersible transducer and data-collection platform. Datum of gage is NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - Gage height records good. Interruptions in the record were due to malfunction of the instruments. The site is tidally affected. The high-high, low-high, high-low, and low-low daily stage values are published.
