LOCATION - Lat 30°34'13", long 89°48'40" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in T.5 S., R.14 E., St. Tammany Parish, LA, Hydrologic Unit 03180004, St. Stephens Meridian, located on west bank of Wilson Slough on National Park Service land, approximately 1/4 mile downstream of gage at East Pearl at Walkiah Bluff.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2006 to September 2007, stage only. October 2007 to current, low-water records.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder.
COOPERATION - This station is operated in cooperation with the Vicksburg District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
REMARKS - Records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Satellite telemeter at station. Discharges are published for periods when stage on East Pearl River at Walkiah Bluff (USGS station 02492110) is less than 32.0 ft.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge not determined, maximum gage height, 43.93, Mar. 31, 2009; minimum discharge, 1,170 ft³/s, Sept. 1, 2011.
