LOCATION - Lat 41°09'29", long 79°04'52" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Jefferson County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05010006, on left bank just upstream from bridge on Pickering Street at Brookville, 0.16 mi downstream from confluence with Sandy Lick Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 328 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2016 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder, crest-stage gage and weighing bucket precipitation gage. Datum of the gage is 1187.5 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.  Prior to April 6, 2023, the datum of gage was reported as 1188.10 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S.  Geological Survey. Funding for the operation of this station is provided by the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Records are good except those for estimated discharge, which are poor.
