LOCATION - Lat 40°53'40", long 79°28'35" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Armstrong County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05010006, on left bank 300 ft upstream of Lock 8 maintenance building, 1.7 miles downstream from Templeton, PA, 3.3 miles east of Adrian PA, and 7 miles upstream of Allegheny lock #7.
DRAINAGE AREA - 8,824 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 2016 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder and staff gage. Datum of gage is 790.5 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.  Prior to December 4, 2023, the datum was reported as 791.2 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.  Telemetry at site.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U. S. Geological Survey in cooperation the the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District
