LOCATION - Lat 39°07'37", long 79°28'07" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Tucker County, WV, Hydrologic Unit 05020004, on right bank 0.4 mi southwest of Davis, 0.5 mi downstream from Beaver Creek, and at mile 11.1.
DRAINAGE AREA - 85.9 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 583: 1921-23. WSP 1173: 1931-34(M, m). WSP 1305: 1928(M), 1932-37(M), 1939-41(M), 1944-48(M). WDR WV-97-1: Drainage area. WDR-US-2008: 1922(M).
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1921 to current year. Records prior to May 17, 1942 provided by West Virginia Power and Transmission Company.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 3,059.25 ft NAVD of 1988. Prior to Dec. 18, 1952, nonrecording gage at site 60 ft downstream at same datum.
REMARKS - Maximum discharge, 12,500 ft³/s, from rating curve extended above 7,000 ft³/s, highest since 1888.
