REMARKS -

As of October 2013, results from discrete water quality samples collected at this site are available through the U.S. Geological Survey National Water Information System web interface on the "Water Quality for the Nation" webpage. Analyses for pH, water temperature, specific conductance, and dissolved oxygen were performed on site. All other sample analyses were performed at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection laboratory in Harrisburg, Pa. Occasionally, values for filtered parameters may exceed values for the corresponding unfiltered parameter. These results are within the limits of analytical precision and methods. For water year 2015, continuous records for water temperature are rated good, except for January 22 to March 19 and July 18-19, which are rated fair, and July 20-31, which are rated poor. Records for specific conductance are good, except for October 29 to November 5, January 22 to April 9, and August 16-31, which are rated fair, and for November 6-18 and September 1-22, which are rated poor. Records for pH are rated good, except for January 22 to April 9, which are rated fair. Interruptions in the record were due to ice/flood damage and/or equipment malfunctions. For water year 2016, continuous records for water temperature and specific conductance are rated good. Records for pH are rated good, except for March 5-April 26, which are poor. Interruptions in the record were due to equipment malfunctions.

For water year 2017, records for water temperature, specific conductance, and pH are rated good.

For water year 2018, records for water temperature are rated good. Records for specific conductance are rated good, except for April 9-25, which are fair, and January 25-February 22 and April 26-May 8, which are poor. Records for pH are rated good, except for January 24-March 6, which is poor.

Beginning in water year 2019, water quality records are not rated as "excellent", "good", "fair", or "poor".

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE--- Maximum instantaneous, 31.3°C on July 7, 2012; Minimum instantaneous, -0.7°C on November 5, 2011.
