LOCATION - Lat 39°59'50.68", long 79°57'32.19" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Fayette County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05020005, on right bank on landward lock wall of Maxwell lock and dam, 0.2 miles NE of Luzerne, PA, 2.65 miles upstream from Denbo, PA and 1.0 mile downstream of Vestaburg, PA.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4,440 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2015 to present year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder with reference staff gage. Datum of gage is 734.50 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (U.S. Army Corp of Engineers bench mark). Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Station established and maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District.
