LOCATION - Lat 38°50'40.4", long 81°13'24.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Calhoun County, WV, Hydrologic Unit 05030203, on left bank at County Route 11 bridge over the West Fork of Little Kanawha River, at intersection of CR 9 and CR 11, 50 ft downstream from Henry Fork, 800 ft downstream from store at Rocksdale, 1 mi downstream from Barnes Run, 9 mi southwest of Grantsville, and at mile 14.3.
DRAINAGE AREA - 205 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 953: 1929-31, 1938(M), 1939. WSP 1275: 1950. WDR WV-97-1: 1953 (M).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

Water-stage recorder with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 656.8 ft above NAVD88.  Previously listed as 657.85 ft above COE 1912.

Dec. 15, 1928, to Sept. 30, 1931. Chain gage on downstream side of bridge (different bridge) at present site at different datum. Chain length 36.73 ft. Stage record not comparable to present site

Nov. 4, 1946 to June 15, 1966, crest-stage gage at present site and datum.

June 16, 1966, to Sept. 15, 2022. Continuous recorder at site 800 feet downstream from present site, at datum 656.82 above NAVD88. The stages are not comparable to current site.
