EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of Jan. 23, 1996 reached a stage of 21.35 ft (from floodmarks), discharge, 27,400 ft³/s, from slope-conveyance rating extension, discharge is the highest since 1918.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 19,700 ft³/s, gage height 19.3 ft (from floodmarks), from rating extended above 1,100 ft³/s; minimum daily, 6.2 ft³/s, Nov. 7, 1978; minimum gage height, 6.16 ft, July 17-19, 23-25, Aug. 8-10, 12, 13, 1977.
