- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 37°57'58", long 81°31'28" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Raleigh County, WV, Hydrologic Unit 05050009, at Leevale, on left bank, at Secondary Route 1-21 highway bridge, 0.7 mi southeast of Whitesville, and 0.6 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 62.8 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1996 to September 1998 (daily discharge and annual maxima), October 1998 to current year (daily discharge and peaks).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemeter. Datum of gage is 818.48 ft above NAVD 88.
REMARKS - Maximum peak flow of 12,000 ft³/s from rating curve extended above 3,300 ft³/s based on slope-area measurement of flow made July 10, 2001, highest since 1977. Maximum peak stage of 28.47 ft from floodmarks.
