LOCATION - Lat 37°14'45", long 82°19'25" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Dickenson County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 05070202, on left bank at Bartlick, just upstream from bridge on State Highway 611, 0.2 mi downstream from Pound River, and 1.1 mi upstream from Fall Branch.
DRAINAGE AREA - 526 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - 1963 to 1982 and Feb. 2018 to current year (operated as a continuous-recorder gaging station); 1983 to 2012 (operated as a Crest Stage Gage).
GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,164.1 ft NAVD of 1988.
