LOCATION - Lat 38°48'13", long 83°25'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Adams County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05090201, on left bank, downstream of bridge on State Highway 348, 0.3 mi downstream from Cedar Run, 7 mi east of West Union, and 7.1 mi upstream from Beasley Fork.
DRAINAGE AREA - 387 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1908: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1926 to November 1935, September 1940 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest stage gages. Datum of gage is 510.19 ft (NAVD 1988). Prior to October 2010, datum was 510.6 ft (1912 adjustment). Prior to Nov. 22, 1940, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
REMARKS -

Records for WY 2014 and 2015: fair, estimated records are poor. Oct. 1, 2015 to Oct. 21, 2015: discharge records poor. Oct. 22, 2015 to Dec. 7, 2015: discharge records fair. Dec. 8, 2015 to Feb. 2, 2016: discharge records poor. Feb. 3, 2016 to Dec. 20, 2016: discharge records fair except for estimated periods, which are poor. Dec. 21, 2016 to Dec. 20, 2017: discharge records fair except for estimated periods, which are poor. For the period Dec. 21, 2017 to Nov. 27, 2018, discharge records rated fair except for estimated discharges which are poor.
