LOCATION - Lat 39°10'17", long 84°17'53" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Clermont County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05090202, on right bank 500 ft downstream from Wooster Pike bridge on U.S. Highway 50, 1.2 mi upstream from East Fork, 6.4 mi downstream from North Branch Creek, and at mile 12.9.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,203 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 728: 1931. WSP 743: 1932. WSP 873: 1925-36. WSP 1908: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1915 to September 1917, October 1917 to May 1920 (gage heights only), March 1925 to September 1936, October 1938 to current year. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1305, published as "at Miamiville" 1915-20.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 493.63 ft (NAVD 1988). June 22, 1915 - May 14, 1920, nonrecording gage at site 4 mi upstream at different datum; Mar. 11, 1925 - Aug. 16, 1928, nonrecording gage at site 500 ft upstream at datum 500.07 ft (NGVD 1929); Aug. 17, 1928 - Sept. 30, 1977, water-stage recorder at current site at datum 499.35 ft adjustment of 1912; Oct. 1, 1977 - Sept. 30, 2011, at datum 494.35 ft (NGVD 1929).
REMARKS - Discharge records fair for 2014. Estimated records are poor. For the period Oct. 1, 2014 to Sept. 15, 2015, discharge records rated fair except for estimated daily discharges which are poor. For the period Sept. 16, 2015 to Dec. 3, 2015, discharge records good except for estimated discharges which are poor. For the period Dec. 4, 2015 to Feb. 9, 2016 discharge records rated poor. For the period Feb. 10, 2016 to Aug. 1, 2016, discharge records rated fair. For the period Aug. 2, 2016 to Oct. 18, 2016, discharge records rated good. For the period Oct.19, 2016 to Feb. 7, 2017, discharge records rated good. For the period Feb. 7, 2017 to Apr. 5, 2017, discharge records rated fair.  For the period Feb. 8, 2017 to Apr. 5, 2017, discharge records rated fair.  For the period Apr. 6, 2017 to Aug. 3, 2017, discharge records rated poor.  For the period Aug. 4, 2017 to Oct. 6, 2017, discharge records rated good.  For the period Oct. 7, 2017 to Oct. 30, 2018, discharge records rated fair.  Record quality ratings will not be included in the water-year summary for approved records newer than 09/30/2019.
