Flood flow regulated by four retarding basins upstream from station plus other reservoirs. See REMARKS for station 03270500. Recharge to the City of Miamisburg wellfield is largely induced infiltration from the Great Miami River. Groundwater pumpage opposite from the station is returned to the river as treated wastewater 2.1 mi downstream from the station. Also, a small amount of water pumped from groundwater farther upstream is diverted to the Little Miami River watershed through the Montgomery County regional system. This pumpage could affect low flow.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of March 26, 1913 reached a discharge 257,000 ft³/s, computed by Miami Conservancy District.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 61,800 ft³/s, Jan. 21, 1959, gage height, 21.30 ft.
