LOCATION - Lat 38°04'00", long 84°33'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Fayette County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05100205, on left bank, on downstream side of bridge on Old Frankfort Pike (Hwy 1681) at Lexington, 0.3 miles southeast of the intersection of Old Frankfort Pike and Viley Road, 0.7 miles northwest of the intersection of Old Frankfort Pike and New Circle Road (Hwy 4), and 0.5 miles upstream from the mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 9.57 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1997 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with crest stage gage for peak verification. Datum of gage is 862.31 feet above NGVD of 1929 (from topographic map) and 861.80 feet above NAVD 1988 datum GNSS survey.
COOPERATION - Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
REMARKS -   Records good except for those estimated which are poor.
