LOCATION - Lat 37°49'58", long 85°17'46" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Nelson County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05140103, on right bank on downstream side of bridge on State Highway 55, 100 feet upstream from Nealy Run, 0.8 miles north of Maud, 1.7 miles downstream from Chaplin River, and at mile 48.1.
DRAINAGE AREA - 436 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Gage height for the period Dec. 12, 2022, to Mar.  31, 2023, were revised on Oct. 27, 2023, based on changes to the gage datum.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1972 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder.  Datum is 529.52 feet above NAVD of 1988 and 530.00 ft above NGVD of 1929.
COOPERATION - Kentucky Energy and Environment Cabinet.
