LOCATION - Lat 40°34'35.1", long 85°39'34.3" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.31, T.25 N., R.8 E., Grant County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 05120103, on downstream middle of Highland Avenue bridge in Marion, 0.1 mi downstream from old mill dam, 1.0 mi upstream from Hummel Creek, 4.6 mi downstream from Lugar Creek, and at mile 35.8.
DRAINAGE AREA - 682 mi². Drainage area derived from the "Drainage Areas of Indiana Streams" publication
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1335: 1927(M). WSP 1385: 1948. WSP 2109: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 1923 to current year. Monthly discharge only for some periods, published in WSP 1305.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood in March 1913 reached a stage of 19.20 ft from information by State of Indiana, Department of Natural Resources.
