LOCATION - Lat 41°15'44", long 85°51'00" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.5, T.32 N., R.6 E., Kosciusko County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 05120106, The gage is on the extreme northwestern point of the lake at the bridge over the outlet, about 1.6 mi north of Warsaw.
DRAINAGE AREA - 41.5 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - 1954 to 2002, September 2010 to current year.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder. DATUM OF GAGE.--799.51 ft. above NAVD88 and 800.00 ft. above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929.

SURFACE AREA.--203 acres.

ESTABLISHED LEGAL LEVEL.--5.64 ft gage datum or 805.64 ft mean sea level, datum of 1929,  in Cause No. 31220, December 12, 1963, by Kosciusko Circuit Court.

LAKE LEVEL CONTROL.--A concrete dam with a fixed crest. Boards may be installed and removed to control the elevation of the lake.

INLET AND OUTLET.--One inlet, Deeds Creek, flows from Little Chapman Lake 3.4 mi upstream, and enters the lake on the lower northern shore. The outlet flows to the west from the extreme northern end of the lake trough Lones Ditch and enters the Tippecanoe River about 0.9 mi downstream.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum stage, 10.79 ft Oct. 15, 1954; mimimum stage, 3.71 ft Sept. 21, 22, 1955.
