LOCATION - Lat 36°50'14", long 84°20'36" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, McCreary County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05130101, on left bank 0.1 miles downstream from bridge on State Highway 90, 0.2 miles upstream from Cumberland Falls, 19.0 miles southwest of Corbin, and at mile 562.4.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,977 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Discharge record: August 1907 to December 1911; April 1915 to September 1931; July 1932 to September 2005; October 2010 to October 2019; October 2020 to present.  Monthly discharges only for October 1914 to March 1915 and October 1931 to July 1932, published in WSP 1306.  Stage only record October 2019 to October 2020.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest stage gage for peak verification.  Datum is 824.71 feet above NAVD of 1988, formerly 825.49 above NGVD of 1929.  August 15, 1907 to December 10, 1911, nonrecording gage at site 300 feet downstream at different datum. April 3, 1915 to September 1, 1933, nonrecording gage at site 500 feet downstream at same datum.
REMARKS - Very slight regulation by Martins Fork Lake.
