LOCATION - Lat 36°00'32.91", long 86°42'05.48" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Davidson County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 05130202, centered on upstream side of bridge on U.S. Highway 31A/41A, 800 ft. upstream from Holt Creek, 0.6 mi. upstream from Owl Creek, 4.6 mi. northwest of Nolensville, and at river mile 19.6.
DRAINAGE AREA - 40.53 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WRD TN-94-1: 1992 (M), WRD TN-03-1: 2001-02 (P).
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous-record streamgage, 1992-2004; crest-stage gage, 2010; flood-hydrograph gage with permanent-record rain gage, 2011 to current year.
GAGE - Flood-hydrograph station consisting of permanent-record rainfall, continuous-record stage, peak discharges above gage height 8.00 ft.  

Datum of gage is 524.49 ft above NAVD of 1988, (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000) GEOID18). 

Prior to April 23, 2024, the datum of gage was assumed to be 527.28 ft NAVD of 1988.  However, was never updated in the Monitor Location Registry.

Prior to December 2011, the datum of gage was assumed to be 527.74 ft NGVD of 1929.  However, was never updated in the Monitor Location Registry.

Prior to March 2009, the datum of gage was unassigned.
