COOPERATION - The water quality aspect of this site is run in cooperation with the NC Department of Transportation.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water quality data is collected using a calibrated YSI EXO3 multiparameter sonde that collects continuous temperature, conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity data. Another calibrated YSI EXO3 multiparameter sonde is used a field meter during routine site visits. Sondes are routinely calibrated and swapped out every 8 weeks.
