LOCATION - Lat 35°41'58", long 83°31'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Sevier County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 06010107, in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, 50 feet upstream from walk bridge along Highway TN-71/441 0.7 miles south of Gatlinburg, Tn 37738. The gage is mounted to the right bank rock wall approximately 50 feet upstream from the walk bridge located on the Gatlinburg Hiking Trail.
DRAINAGE AREA - 31.5 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous stage/discharge record: December 12, 2016 to October 24, 2017 (discontinued). Continuous stage-only record December 12, 2016 to October 15, 2018 (discontinued). Continuous stage/discharge record begins October 30, 2019 to present.
GAGE -

Water Stage Recorder.  Datum of gage is 1352.77 ft above NAVD of 1988, (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000), GEOID18).  

Prior to April 06, 2023, Data collection platform. Elevation of gage datum is estimated as 1,373.00 ft. above sea level, from Google Earth.
