LOCATION - Lat 36°13'12.03", long 81°54'27.38" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Avery County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 06010103, on right bank 400 ft downstream of Buckeye Lake spillway, 0.2 miles upstream from Grassy Gap Creek, and 1.2 miles northwest of Beech Mountain
DRAINAGE AREA - 3.37 mi².  
REVISIONS HISTORY - Gage datum was revised on April 07, 2022 based on an error in the determination of the gage datum.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 2018 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform. Datum of gage is 3,339.21 ft. above National Geodetic Vertical Datum 1988. Satellite telemetry at streamgage.
