LOCATION - Lat 34°47'18", long 86°35'55" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Madison County, AL, Hydrologic Unit 06030002, at bridge on Blue Springs Road, 1.7 mi north of Sparkman Drive, and 1.1 mi north of Mastin Lake Road.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2.28 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1996 to current year (flood hydrograph only).
GAGE -

Flood-hydrograph station consisting of permanent-record rainfall, continuous-record stage, peak discharges above base gage-height of 4.03 ft.

Datum of gage is 688.14 ft above NAVD of 1988, (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000) GEOID18).  Prior to December 8, 2023, the datum of gage is 688.214 ft above NAVD of 1988. Gage moved to downstream side of culvert beginning 2001 water year.

REMARKS - Records are poor except for other periods as noted. High flow discharges are available in NWIS.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 2,050 ft³/s, Feb. 23, 2019, gage height, 6.83 ft.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
