- Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 34°45'50", long 86°56'47" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Limestone County, AL, Hydrologic Unit 06030002, on downstream side of bridge on Strain Road, 3.2 mi east of Athens.
DRAINAGE AREA - 40.9 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 24, 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is 621.74 ft above NAVD of 1988, (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000) GEOID18).
Prior to March 6, 2025, the datum of gage was assumed to be 640.00 ft NGVD of 1929 obtained from Topographic Map. However, was never entered into the MLR.
COOPERATION - This site in cooperation with The City of Athens Utilities Water Resources Division.
REMARKS - Records good, except for estimated periods, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 11,700 ft³/s, April 27, 2011, gage height, 12.13 ft.; minimum discharge, 1.35 ft³/s, July 4, 8 2012.
