LOCATION - Lat 46°43'33.0", long 88°39'44.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 sec.15, T.50 N., R.35 W., Baraga County, MI, Hydrologic Unit 04020104, on right bank in powerhouse of Upper Peninsula Power Co. at Prickett Dam, 4.0 mi upstream from Clear Creek, 5.0 mi southeast of Alston, and at mile 45.
DRAINAGE AREA - 346 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1932 to June 1941, October 1942 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 709.69 ft above NAVD 88, converted on July 9, 2020 from NGVD 29. Prior to Jan. 5, 1948, nonrecording gage, and Jan. 5, 1948 to Sept. 30, 1963, water-stage recorder at same site at datum 39.34 ft lower.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by power plant at station.
