LOCATION - Lat 44°19'45", long 88°59'45" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.1, T.21 N., R.12 E., Waupaca County, WI, Hydrologic Unit 04030202, on right bank 10 ft downstream from Harrington Road bridge, 4 mi upstream from Weyauwega Lake dam, 4.5 mi southeast of Waupaca, and about 5 mi downstream from Crystal River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 265 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1916 to September 1966 (no winter records for 1964 and 1965 water years). Operated as crest-stage gage from October 1966 to September 1970 and low-flow partial-record station from October 1966 to September 1977. October 1982 to September 1985. October 2008 to May 19, 2020. (DISCONTINUED) Published as "near Weyauwega" June 1916 to October 1917.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation is 779.95 ft above NAVD of 1988 (from survey level line along railroad). Prior to Oct. 19, 1917, chain gage at site 1 mi downstream at different datum. Oct. 19, 1917 to Nov. 23, 1938, chain gage on bridge at present site and datum.

INSTRUMENTATION - A Satlantic SUNA V2 nitrate sensor and an AquaTroll specific conductance and temperature sensor is connected to a CR1000 datalogger. All equipment is housed either in a 5 ft by 5 ft concrete shelter located on the right bank just south of the Harrington Road bridge or in the stream mounted to the orifice pipe.
