LOCATION - Lat 41°37'18", long 87°05'13" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.34, T.37 N., R.6 W., Porter County, IN, Hydrologic Unit 04040001, on right bank at downstream end of county road bridge, 200 ft upstream from bridge on U.S. Highway 20, 0.8 mi northwest of Porter, and 4.5 mi upstream from Salt Creek.
