  • Oct 22, 2018 - Acquisition of real-time telemetry data for some USGS DCP IDs: We are investigating an issue that is impacting acquisition of DCP transmissions for GOES East and West. The issue is impacting a subset of transmitting DCPs across multiple channels for a number of Water Science Centers throughout the nation. We hope to have the service interruption restored soon.

LOCATION - Lat 42°11'11", long 86°22'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.23, T.3 S., R.18 W., Berrien County, MI, Hydrologic Unit 04050001, on left bank 40 ft upstream from bridge on Coloma Road, 0.8 mi east of Riverside.
DRAINAGE AREA - 390 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1337: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1951 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 588.80 ft above NGVD 29. May 10, 1966 to July 11, 1967, nonrecording gage at same site and datum.
REMARKS - Diurnal fluctuation, principally during low flow, caused by paper mill upstream from station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 4,240 ft³/s, Feb. 23, 2018, gage height, 11.80 ft; minimum discharge, 99 ft³/s, July 5, 1964.
