LOCATION - Lat 45°06'04", long 85°05'50" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.07, T.31 N., R.6 W., Antrim County, MI, Hydrologic Unit 04060105, on upstream side of Webster Bridge, 4.2 mi south of East Jordan, and 4.5 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 67.9 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR MI-83-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Occasional low-flow measurements, water years 1960-65. October 1966 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 596.12 ft above NAVD88, converted on July 9, 2020 from NGVD 29 (Antrim County Road Commission bench mark). Nov. 19, 1959 to Sept. 30, 1966, nonrecording gage.  Oct. 1966 to Sept. 2019 at site 400 ft downstream.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 1,450 ft³/s, Oct. 23, 2020, gage height, 7.10 ft; minimum discharge, 91 ft³/s, Mar. 8, 1982, result of freezeup.
